The Berg In Ground Trampoline offers a unique and patented solution to those people who want to install their trampoline as subtely and discreetly as possible. The Berg In Ground Trampoline is Europes first and only trampoline that has been constructed especially for bedding into the ground. You can integrate your trampoline into your garden in a neat, ultra simple and safe manner. The frame is especially designed for an easy and safe installation and you don’t pay for the intermediate legs which you will not need. The top rail rests on specially made lowered feet, which are fixed into the surface with the accompanying ground anchors. This inconspicuous trampoline provides your children with tremendous fun without impacting on the look of your garden. Just check out what this happy customer had to say…
“Easy to put together, solid construction and not the eyesore that most trampolines are as there’s no net and it stands only 20cms above the ground. You have to dig a smaller hole than for other dug-in tramps too, so cheaper/less hassle to install. The kids can get on easily and they love it! Great product. Worth the cost and BHP did a fabulous job too!”

OVALPOD Blog.jpg
The JumpKing Oval JumpPod Trampoline is great! Released in 2008, it offered the latest innovation in trampoline technology. This trampoline is based on the hugely successful JumpKing JumpPod, but takes it a step further by offering the bounce benefits of a rectangular style trampoline, with the safety of the original classic JumpPOD. The JumpKing Oval Pod also offers greater versatility and flexibility for those who want a larger trampoline but are restricted due to the shape or size of the garden.
Check out this review from one very satisfied Oval Pod Owner;
Last summer our trampoline gave up the ghost, we had a standard round one which only lasted a few years and it was only used for a few summers so disappointed is an understatement.
My husband and I have no children but we have many nieces and nephews in the family who love to come and play in the summer, we also like to entertain and do BBQ’s for the family in the summer, so when the trampoline broke we just had to replace it so the kids would be amused.
After looking for another trampoline we decided to buy a better heavy duty trampoline that can be use by adults as well and not break after a few years, so we have now bought this Jumpking Oval JumpPod Trampoline that offers all of this.
It was fairly expensive but has fantastic warranties and we are positive that is will last and we have had so much fun already.
Jump King are a leading design company in manufacturing trampolines, with this Oval POD design they have excelled as it has a very different unique shape, which is oval and is 15ft long by 10ft wide.
Some maybe thinking this is no different to any other on the market, well I have to stress that it is made to the highest quality and all safety features are included, the best thing is this is very durable and gives a superb bounce ability, this is because is has over ninety supporting springs which are attached from the frame to the trampoline jump bed.
It has the performance of a rectangular trampoline, making is very easy to have up to four people at a time playing on it at any one time, which was never really an option with the round trampolines you can buy for the garden.
The shape of it has also benefited us, although it is bigger than the round one we had this sits perfectly at the bottom of the garden and does not take up as much space, this is because of the two flat edges that can sit closely to a wall of garage making the whole thing very compact, unlike a perfectly round version which took up most of the garden.
This comes with its own safety enclosure cage which stands six feet above the actual trampoline base, so it is perfectly save for children and even the odd drunk that may have a go.
Some of you may wonder how you actually gain entry into the trampoline when it is caged, well this is very simple the trampoline as an access ladder from the ground onto the trampoline itself, that ladder has three small steps up to the trampoline making it very easy to get on to it, the ladder is very easy for everyone to use the kids found it easy and even my granny had a go, so this is very easy to access.
Once you hit the trampoline itself you unzip the 6ft enclosure and crawl in, the zip closure can be closed and opened from inside and out side the trampoline, for added security you can also clip it shut with the additional clips supplied, we have never found the need for these but if you want to lock kids in so they don’t fall off after opening the enclosure door them selves this is a very good idea. This is also great for locking husbands in as they have no way of getting out with this safety feature.
BUILDING THE TRAMPOLINE
The trampoline arrived flat packed and in four very large boxes, I have to say me and my husband were like two kids in a sweet shop when it first arrived and we couldn’t wait to get it built.
Once we found the instructions is was very straight forward to assemble and took roughly forty minutes, that was to build the trampoline and attach the safety enclosure.
The build quality of this is very good and I have no doubt that this will be around for years, as it is made from large steel tubes which are over two inches thick and span the whole trampoline, making it very strong and durable.
The safety enclosure comes in one solid piece, it is made of a light weight mesh material that it rip resistant and weather proof, it is supported by six 6ft long brackets and brackets that bow outwards to give the whole enclosure extra strength.
MY OPINION
The oval design was very important to us as a family as we love to entertain in the garden, and having fun is one of the major attractions even for the adults, so this design of trampoline has not only fitted in perfectly but the adults and kids can play on it at the same time, we have had the round trampolines but we found only one person could play at anyone time as it always pulled you in to the centre of the trampoline and we had many accidents, so this has worked out very well as you can fit up to four people on it at a time making it very fun to play on.
All of the issues I had about safety has been resolved with this trampoline and I love the fact that adults can have fun too, I would class this as a professional trampoline although it is not sold as one, the bounce ability is fantastic and even my seven year old niece is becoming quite the professional and now wants to take up gymnastics as she has mastered summersaults and complex jumps, not that her mum is to impressed as she is getting pestered to buy one constantly and I have to say I have not seen as much of my niece as I have in the past few weeks.
I have to say I recommend this, yes it is expensive but is will last and you can have so much fun, even me and my husband have been known to go out and play on it, so my saying we bought it for the kids is a little white lie as we love it as much as they do.
Sounds good to me! RF

How to buy a family trampoline for christmas by Lizzzzz

Monday, October 19th, 2009

by Lizzzzzz
When I was finishing elementary school, my parents said if I saved up 1/3 of the money for a trampoline, they and some of my relatives would chip in the other 2/3 of the money and get it for me for Christmas. A trampoline cost $300 and it was one of the largest ticket items I could think of. Over the course of the year, I saved an amazing $87, mostly by constantly begging my parents to give me chores to do for money. I got the trampoline even though I was shy of the 1/3 mark.
We would all play on the trampoline for hours. The trampoline provided hours of entertainment and exercise for all of the cousins and might have kept them from being upset about not always getting new clothes, the latest game system, or other presents they wanted.
I am not sure what the moral of this story – with thanks to Lizzz- but we have families that contribute to the ‘big ticket’ family christmas present of a trampoline with the help of grandparents god parents uncles and aunts. Best not to leave it too late on Christmas eve to erect your trampoline for christmas morning

trampoline better than a $30,000 swimming pool

Monday, August 10th, 2009

Releasing his new CD ‘my trampoline” Peter Himmelman, a Los Angeles based musician and dad to four children; , said that the songs on ”My Trampoline” were inspired by real life. “We’ve had a trampoline in our backyard for the last ten years and our kids have had at least as much fun with it as any $30,000 swimming pool,” he explains. “I figure anything that simple and that much fun must have a lot of special significance. There’s something very metaphoric in a trampoline as well; you’re always striving to gain altitude … and even though you may never quite get aloft, there’s magic in the trying.”
Mr Himmelman, writes kid-friendly lyrics that can be hilarious and reflective at the same time. Any kid who has ever pondered the immensity of the universe will love the meditation of “Ten Billion Blades of Grass.” “The idea for the song struck me when staring at our lawn one morning. Each of the blades of grass seemed like a sentient being, with perceptions, however subtle, about the world around them. The thought occurred to me that they get along so well because they’re one big family.” “Statistical Factoids” will delight young brainiacs, “Main Dish” gives the nod to both Julia Child and Charlie Pride and “Workin’, Playin’ and Dreamin’” offers up a bluesy romp with stories about kids who are making their dreams come true, with a little help from mom and dad. The high-energy collection of tunes concludes with a sweet “Lullabye (with Baseball and Trains).”
Sounds good certainly agree about the metaphysics of trampolining – but my billion blades of grass – the ‘big happy family’ are getting along so well as I haven’t had a chance to mow em.
‘My trampoline’ is released in the USA at the end of August. I will be curious enough to search out a copy. Are there other trampolining records/songs….answers on a postcard please. With thanks to Abby and Sandy of ‘Deals and Steals’

Oval Pod Assembly

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

Mr NM writes ‘The JumpKing Oval Pod trampoline has been delivered and i have successfully built it. It was a simple task, even on my own and took me not much more than three hours to build the entire thing, including the safety net. My children are obviously thrilled about having the trampoline, as are some of the neighbouring children.’

Oval Pod Review

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Thank you for your follow up email and I am sorry that I haven’t already written to thank you for your excellent service!
The Jumpking Oval Pod trampoline actually arrived on the Monday (a day prior to expectation) and a few friends helped me to assemble it that day. I have had a previous trampoline but must say the Jumpking is massively superior. I never realised there could be such a vast difference in the overall quality and appearance of a trampoline, and whilst the Jumpking was more expensive than my previous trampoline, the whole system is obviously far more robust and safe, so in my opinion, the safety features far outweigh any extra cost! The only one comment I would pass is that the instructions for assembly are not the easiest to follow but I appreciate this is the manufacturer’s responsibility….not yours.
Thank you once again for your excellent service….I would definitely recommend your company to others because you demonstrated exemplary consideration right throughout the buying process from pre-order discussions to delivery and even after-sales!
Bouncy Happy people Editors note: The Oval pod instructions are not the easiest and we have an assembly guide on the site. It will take 2 adults more than the hour stated to assemble the Oval Pod – it took us nearly 3 hours.

Our Best Seller: The Jumpking Oval Jump Pod Trampoline

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

The Jump Pod Oval Trampoline is this years best selling trampoline at Bouncy happy People. It has out performed the Classic Pods in all sizes. Possibly because it is 10′ by 15′ so it can fit in the space that would have only allowed a 10′ round trampoline. OVALPOD[1].jpg
The Jumpking Oval Pod trampoline is so versatile to site, is amazing quality for the money, with good warranties, from a respected brand and this is why it has been so successful.
