"Bilibo!"

bilibo yellow.jpg
So many children amusingly prefer playing with the empty cardboard boxes at Christmas rather than the expensive toys that come inside them and that’s why we think the Bilibo is the ideal Christmas gift this for year.

Bilibo's bright colours and distinctive shell shape are very appealing to young children and it’s unique form arouses curiosity, stimulates the senses, and engages the imagination therefore developing creativity.

Both boys and girls can find virtually unlimited ways to play with Bilibos - from rocking/ spinning and sitting to hiding under and using as a turtle's shell! Or peeking through the eyes holes like a helmet! The Bilibo's only limitation is your child's imagination! At home, at the park, at the beach, in the water, and even in the snow, Bilibo provides hours of open-ended play.

We are now completely Smite! hooked and will be playing every chance we get, we have already become a bit too competitive over it, we reckon we're going to win the World Championships held in Cornwall later this August, Chris and Rosie are our "GoldenSmites", our star players.

Smite is a fab game for all ages from 5 years - you have to add and subtract - and play as a team.

Gonge Toddler Trampoline up to 2 years

We renamed the Gonge 'Baby' trampoline 'the Gonge Toddler Trampoline' as although toddlers use it babies in the group 0-2 at preschool were able to climb and bounce. The babies bouncd together on a supervised basis and the toddlers needed to be on their own. All groups interacted talking and laughing.

The learning outcomes for using the Gonge toddler trampoline are
climbing bouncing and coordination skills
language and communication skills
sharing skills

It was found to be very popular in the soft play room, and stafffelt it would be good for home or in the pre-school.

Staff felt it 'seemed very safe as it was at their level' ie very low to the ground.

All the children loved playing on it even those younger children just learning to walk.

At 2-3 years there was equally good response from children and those not participating watching with children returning to it again and again. It does need supervising.
